Classroom Tour 2019-2020

It's ready! I still have a couple of weeks left before I go back to work but my classroom is set up for the 2019-2020 school year so today I'm going to show you around!

Rather than spam you with a million photos I've done a video tour again this year:

And here are some details about the things I mentioned in the video:
My behavior management systems
Color teams
Teacher music stand
Teacher desk area
Sub tub
Rainbow patterns posters

I also just wrote a post about how I think through my classroom setup, which explains what my priorities are and what I consider when I'm setting up my room each year:

I can't wait for the school year to get started- it's about to get real! Leave a comment below if you have any questions about anything in my classroom, and best wishes to everyone on their school year!

  1. WOW! I am so jealous of your large room and your wall of shelves! Your room looks great! I too use rainbow teams. I have used it for years and it works great! Have a great year!

    1. I know! I was ecstatic the first time I walked into my classroom and saw those shelves and big open space :) Thank you so much for the comment, and best wishes on your school year as well!

  2. Thank you for the tour of your amazing classroom!!! Do you put a piece of the velcro on each boom wacker to hang them? Does this effect the pitch or sound?

    1. Yes, I have a long strip of the scratchy side on the wall, and then a small square of the soft side on each boomwhacker. I've had this setup for years and I have not noticed any impact on the pitch or sound.

    1. Thank you! I got them a year ago at a few different stores to find the colors I wanted- mostly from Michaels and Hobby Lobby.
