Rather than spam you with a million photos I've done a video tour again this year:
And here are some details about the things I mentioned in the video:
My behavior management systems
Color teams
Teacher music stand
Teacher desk area
Sub tub
Rainbow patterns posters
I also just wrote a post about how I think through my classroom setup, which explains what my priorities are and what I consider when I'm setting up my room each year:
I can't wait for the school year to get started- it's about to get real! Leave a comment below if you have any questions about anything in my classroom, and best wishes to everyone on their school year!
WOW! I am so jealous of your large room and your wall of shelves! Your room looks great! I too use rainbow teams. I have used it for years and it works great! Have a great year!
ReplyDeleteI know! I was ecstatic the first time I walked into my classroom and saw those shelves and big open space :) Thank you so much for the comment, and best wishes on your school year as well!
DeleteThank you for the tour of your amazing classroom!!! Do you put a piece of the velcro on each boom wacker to hang them? Does this effect the pitch or sound?
ReplyDeleteYes, I have a long strip of the scratchy side on the wall, and then a small square of the soft side on each boomwhacker. I've had this setup for years and I have not noticed any impact on the pitch or sound.
DeleteLooks amazing! Where did you get your lap trays?
ReplyDeleteThank you! I got them a year ago at a few different stores to find the colors I wanted- mostly from Michaels and Hobby Lobby.
DeleteWhere did you get your lap trays??
ReplyDeleteI actually got them from several different stores- I couldn't find all of them in one place and I used coupons to get the best price I could (not the cheapest to buy a class set). I think I ended up getting them at Michael's, Target, and JoAnne's mostly.
